The cabin was "worn in" but very comfortable and the view was incredible. In the afternoon when we arrived a horse, 3 donkeys and a highland cow wandered over to the fence to say hi. The next night 2 chickens came up to the deck door to beg for food scraps (strawberry tops were greatly appreciated) and a couple of pademelon wallabies grazed around the grass by the bottom of the deck. Plenty of spices, oils, sauces etc, pots and pans in the kitchen making it easy to cook up quick meals The washing machine and tumble dryer were appreciated

The owner was very welcoming and friendly. The cabin had everything you need. The kitchen, bathroom and toilets were squeaky clean. The view across the meadow towards the mountains was beautiful and we enjoyed the many animals around us (a horse, two donkeys, two Scottish Highland cows, many different ducks with ducklings, chicken and a rooster). We also loved the very comfortable beds. The shower/bathroom was spacious and we had the luxury of two toilets.

Anja

Great value for money. The cottage was rustic but comfortable and homely, and had more amenities than anywhere else by far. Our own laundry facilities (free), proper coffee maker, rice cooker, a full kitchen and loads of pans stood out in particular. There was plenty of seating for the whole family to be comfortable. The cottages look out over Mt Roland which is a stunning back drop and the kids (and adults) loved saying hi to the resident animals.

Helen

The location, views and sweet animals are worth a stay, if you can look past the rustic and rundown state of the property. The cabin was very well equipped, warm, comfortable and clean. The views of Mount Roland are spectacular and the animals including baby ducks and chickens were super cute. The cottages are private and far enough apart that you almost feel like you're the only ones there. The staff member was kind and helpful.

Carlin

fantastic location with Mt Roland just outside the window. The set up feels like you are on your own but with access to playgrounds and sauna, spa and games room. Really good location for adventuring with Tasmazia and Lake Barrington not very far away and also close to Sheffield and Cradle Mountain. Lovely to be greeted by sheep donkeys, horse and highland cows just on the other side of the fence.
